Classic Avocado Toast with Hummus

Mashed avocado spread over crusty bread, finished with some lemon juice, kala namak, hemp seeds or alfalfa sprouts - does it get much better than that??!

It's one of those quick and simple breakfast ideas and it's full of healthy, unsaturated fats.


Servings: 1-2 I Prep Time: 3 minutes



  • 1 avocado

  • 1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice

  • 1 tsp kala namak (black salt)

  • ground black pepper

  • 1 tomato

  • 2 slices protein bread, toasted

  • hummus


  1. Toast 2 slices of bread

  2. Cut 1 tomato & avocado

  3. Slather each pieces with hummus

  4. Top with avocado slices & tomatoes

  5. Season with lemon juice, kala namak, pepper, etc.
