Vegan French Toast


  • 1 tbsp of ground flax seeds

  • 3/4 cup of plant-based milk

  • 1 tbsp of maple syrup

  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract

  • 1/4 tsp of cinnamon

  • 2 slices of bread

  • vegan butter for cooking

  • fruits, berries of your choice for topping

  • plant-based yoghurt for topping


  1. Mix together flax seeds, plant-based milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract and cinnamon in a bowl large enough to lay the bread in.

  2. Coat bread on both sides with the batter, then cook in a hot pan on both sides until golden brown.

  3. Top with fruits, berries, yoghurt, maple syrup, etc.
