Whenever I am in the mood of eating something sweet, I usually go for dates. I either eat them pure or stuff them with different toppings, for example like the recipe below.
We usually have them always at home and my kids as well as my hubby love them too!
They are also very nutritious and keep you feeling full!
For this recipe I've used Medjool dates because they are larger and softer and therefore they are perfect for stuffing. But you can also use the regular dates.
You can also experiment with the toppings and use different nut butter, like almond, cashew; and you can also add a chocolate on top! ;)
peanut butter or any other nut butter
and kind of nuts
Use a knife to make a cut lengthwise in your date and remove the pit.
Add a spoonful of peanut butter to the centre of the date.
Top with nuts of your choice.
