  • 1 onion

  • 1 tsp garlic paste

  • 250 g pigeon peas

  • 1/4 tsp curry powder

  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

  • salt, pepper

  • 2 cups coconut milk

  • 1 cup coconut cream

  • coconut oil

Directions

  1. In a large pot, combine pigeon peas & coconut milk.

  2. Cover & cook on a medium heat until the coconut reduces & the peas became tender.

  3. Heat a few tsp of oil in a skillet. Add the chopped onion, garlic paste, curry powder, turmeric powder, salt & pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes and then add the mixture to the peas. Add the remaining coconut milk & simmer on the lowest heat until the coconut is completely absorbed.
